Galloway Hoard brooch – solid pewter brooch inspired by items found in one of the largest Viking collections buried in Britain or Ireland. Secures to garment by way of a pin with locking safety catch.

This brooch is inspired by a piece that was part of the Galloway Hoard, discovered by metal detectorists in 2014. This hoard is the richest collection of Viking-age objects ever found in the UK. A variety of materials are believed to have been buried in around 900 AD, and contained treasures from around the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms.
